The Proud Family Island of the G-nomes
As the first full-length feature based on the hit TV series, “The Proud Family Movie: Island of the G-Nomes” became an instant success in its premiere telecast and subsequent showings. Now available on DVD, the story centers on Penny Proud, who’s almost 16 but still treated like a child by her dad Oscar. Instead of allowing her to celebrate her sweet 16th birthday with her friends, Oscar insists that she join a family vacation to the exotic Legume Island. Dang! After angrily stating that she’d like “a different family,” she unexpectedly gets what she asks for – embarks on a quest to save her real family from the Evil Scientist and his army of clones who inhabit this island full of mysteries and oddities.
