Paul and Jennifer, documentary filmmakers, come to Rockport, Maine to shoot a movie about a cryptid convention where enthusiasts trade stories of encounters with unknown creatures like Big Foot.  Their project turns nightmarish when a real cryptid infects a local fisherman and sends him spiraling into a rabies-like rampage.  Disturbing questions surface.  Will the ocean unburden itself of more secrets? Will human life survive when killing becomes contagious?

Andie Melbrook just moved to her new apartment in Los Angeles.  One night, she discovers a sketchbook under the floorboards in her clostet. This sketchbook was owned by the former tenant, the notorious Night Giver, a serial killer that murdered many Los Angeles woman before being caught and imprissoned. After studying the book, Andie realizes that some of the woman sketched are still alive, and finds herself following the would-be-victims.
